The short version

We auto-delete your report and conversation transcript from our servers 24 hours after generation. The report is yours — print or save it to your own device. We never sell your data, never share your conversation publicly, and never use your conversation to train AI models.

What we collect

Your name and email — only if you choose to submit them at the email gate so we can email you the report link, or if you submit feedback through the feedback form. Not required to use Career GPS.

Your conversation transcript and the generated report — stored temporarily on our servers (Netlify Blobs) so you can re-open the report in your browser after the conversation. Auto-deleted after 24 hours via a scheduled cleanup job.

Anonymous feedback — if you submit through the feedback form, the responses are stored so we can improve the product. We don't link feedback to your conversation.

What we don't do

• We don't keep your report or conversation beyond 24 hours.
• We don't sell your data — to anyone.
• We don't share your conversation publicly.
• We don't use your conversation to train AI models.

Auto-deletion

A scheduled function runs hourly on our infrastructure. It scans every saved report and deletes any that are older than 24 hours. After deletion, the report URL stops working — the only copy is the one you printed or saved.

If you want to keep your report long-term, please print it or use the browser's "Save as PDF" before the 24-hour window closes.

Third parties

We use Anthropic's Claude API to power the conversation and generate the report. Anthropic's terms apply to their processing. We use Resend to send transactional email. We use Netlify to host the application and store the temporary report blob. None of these third parties have a marketing right to your data through us.

Your rights

If you submitted your email and want to be removed from any contact list, or want any data we still hold deleted ahead of the 24-hour auto-deletion window, email us — we'll process it within a few business days.
